Handle are thrilled to be working with a leading Manchester-based event company who are in search for a Ticketing Coordinator.

The primary objective is to optimise ticket sales and revenue through the provision of effective ticketing information and guidance. The ideal candidate will take complete ownership of event ticketing and should possess previous experience in managing ticketing for festivals and/or large tours. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with promoters, MD & Finance Director, ticket agents/venues, and other stakeholders to advise and manage ticketing for all Music and Partner Company Festivals, potentially including venue touring concerts and other events.

  • Prepare events for on-sale by confirming and configuring event details, including manifests, seating plans, price structures, presales, holds, allocations, booking fees, rebates, and ticket stock requirements.

  • Create reporting documents in Excel to administer events and track sales/revenue.

  • Maximise ticket sales and revenue through proactive monitoring and analysis of sales, managing inventory, and allocations across ticket agents.

  • Generate event sales forecasts, updates, charts, analyses, and management information, reporting directly to company heads.

  • Liaise with production teams to ensure terms and conditions align with ticketing and access control requirements and assist Licensing and Production with on-site planning through various reports.

  • Collaborate with the marketing department to support events in line with forecasts and sales for show success.

  • Work on-site at outdoor events, overseeing or staffing Access Control & Box Office operations, including stock audit, control, and distribution, and other festival duties.

  • Process internal ticket orders, including artist management and label requests, raising invoice requisitions as needed.

  • Handle customer ticketing inquiries and liaise with Ticket Agents for resolution.

  • Manage Guest Lists and Guest List Box Office on-site.

  • Manage Disabled Access Ticket Requests and Distribution.

  • Perform any other reasonable duties as directed by management.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Demonstrated expertise in ticketing and staff management, acquired in a promoter, ticket agent, or venue environment.

  • Essential proficiency in Excel, Word, and MS Office.

  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., PayLogic) and expertise in reporting functions; experience with reporting tools and platforms is advantageous.

  • Strong interpersonal and customer relation skills due to interactions with casual staff, customers, promoters, and other stakeholders.

  • Involvement in some manual lifting, especially on-site.

  • Exceptional numeracy skills with keen attention to detail and intermediate or above-level proficiency in Excel.

  • Strong literacy skills with proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, up to Management Team level.

  • Proactive, demonstrating initiative, drive, and commitment to achieving objectives.

  • Utilises interpersonal skills to establish excellent rapport and working relationships.

  • Self-motivated, taking ownership of personal and technical skills development.

  • Well-organised, deadline-focused, and skilled at prioritising workloads.

  • Blends analytical thought with creativity for effective problem-solving.

  • Maintains good commercial awareness, with a proven ability to maximise sales and understanding of business drivers.
