Business Analyst (Vendor Management Office)
*This is an initial Fixed Term Contract
We're looking for an experienced Business Analyst to Join our client's Vendor Management Office for a short FTC. This would be a great opportunity to join a leading UK retailer.
What you'll do:
- Provide data-led recommendations to buyers to manage cost price increase requests
- Track commodity prices & identify opportunities to negotiate with suppliers proactively
- Support the category review process, helping the commercial team develop annual plans for their areas
- Identify key suppliers, trends and market dynamics that shape the different categories
- Support annual business plans negotiations with suppliers
About you:
- Experience in a retail, e-commerce or FMCG
- Experience with VBA, Tableau or SQL
- Highly numerate and analytical
- Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability
- Strong communication, teamwork and influencing skills
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
