Anton Capital, a boutique film financing investment company with a 25-strong team that’s growing quickly.
What they needed
An exceptional candidate to fill the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The client was referred to handle by a film company we had previously worked with, as a film/TV industry specialist that knew all the key players – both clients and candidates.
The challenge
It was a very niche role which needed covering quickly, as the current financial director (FD) was leaving shortly. We had to find someone of the right calibre to deal with high net worth individuals, and multi-million pound portfolios of investments in feature films.
The handle approach
We looked at all the suitable candidates who were registered with us, and picked out those who matched exactly the requirements of the role and the culture of Anton Capital, before approaching the best. Our focused process meant the client only needed to meet three candidates. The successful candidate was not actually registered with us – he was referred by someone who was.
