case study: retail fashion recruitment for Kurt Geiger.
Challenge: Hire 50+ sales professionals with luxury footwear experience for the refurbished Selfridges men’s footwear department.
Achieve: A talented and experienced team to reflect both Kurt Geiger and Selfridges and support in the opening of the world’s largest men’s shoe department.
Why handle? Kurt Geiger’s relationship with handle stretches back a number of years, with a fantastic track record of placing Finance professionals and temporary office support to our London based Headquarters. As a business with a robust direct sourcing strategy Kurt Geiger only seeks support on the roles they have struggled to fill in-house. They said "a history of successfully supporting us with these difficult to fill positions is testament to the abilities of the handle team." Kurt Geiger values that the handle team take the time to clearly understand their business culture and role requirements in a manner you might expect from a bespoke search firm. When looking for a recruitment agency to support them with this high profile project, handle were their obvious choice. Outcome: With handle’s support Kurt Geiger filled all positions and inducted, trained and store approved all new members of the team in time for launch, under considerable time constraints. Overall the project was a great success.
