This week weβre spotlighting Co:Lab, a collective exhibition on inclusion, creativity & community power, developed by young artists from the Creative Opps Membership Programme in partnership with Arts Against Knives.
Bringing together nine emerging UK creatives, Co:Lab explores what inclusion means today and how artistic practice can challenge barriers to the arts - it is both artistic and activist, creating space for disabled, neurodivergent, racialised, working-class and marginalised voices to be visible and leading.
Across visual art, film, sound, writing, installation, participatory projects and digital experiences, early-career artists are leading the way - many exhibiting publicly for the first time.
The exhibition embodies collective authorship, care-led creative processes, and the belief that access to the arts must be shaped with young people, not for them.
β
βCo:Lab is about making space - for experimentation, for voices that are often overlooked, and for creative practices that donβt always fit into traditional gallery settings.β - Maddie Tichborne & Bolu Kolawole, Co-Curators

About Handle Recruitment
We opened the doors in 1978 and built our reputation in the music industry. We quickly realised that a great brand is not always a household name. A great brand is something people connect with, not just a place they work. Somewhere that helps them become better at what they do. It could be a record label, it could be in media, it could be a tech start-up.
