We're looking for an experienced AP Manager to join a fast-paced and creative production company on a 12-month maternity cover contract. Starting in October, you'll manage a small team, oversee AP operations, and support the Financial Controller in driving process improvements across a collaborative finance function.
Responsibilities
Lead and support the AP team, providing training and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
Oversee invoice processing, expense claims, Ltd Co payroll, and payment runs
Manage credit card and prepaid card programmes, including reconciliations and postings
Review bank reconciliations, weekly cashflow forecasts, and key AP accounts
Resolve supplier queries, reconcile statements, and build strong relationships
Support month-end with tasks such as cashflow reporting and PAYE Settlement Agreement calculations
Requirements
Previous AP leadership experience in a fast-paced, changing environment
Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, IF/SUMIF)
Confident communicator with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping and multi-currency reconciliations
Proactive, adaptable, and able to work with minimal supervision
Experience with PMI accounting system and Barclays.NET banking is desirable, but not essential
