We're excited to be working with a Worldwide Talent Agency, looking for a Client Payments Coordinator to join their team on a temporary basis.
Working in their central London office, the successful applicant will be involved in a variety of transactional duties and cash management.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring the accurate allocation of incoming & outgoing funds, whilst controlling incoming & outgoing deposits, for the cash team
Reviewing applied deposits with the client payments team
Liaising with key stakeholders to ensure funds are received and allocated correctly
Reconciling artist account balances to generate successful artist payouts
Preparing statements to artists and sending them to agents for approval
Communicating with agent assistants regarding payments, tax documents, accounting advice and other ad-hoc financial duties
Maintaining excellent customer service to build relationships with artists, managers and accountants
Requirements:
1-2 years of general and transactional accounting experience
Prior customer service and financial experience in an entertainment / media setting is preferred
Keen interest and understanding of the media / entertainment industry (i.e. the nature of what a talent agency does)
Proficient in Excel and Outlook
Netsuite experience is strongly preferred
Fantastic organisational and interpersonal skills
