We at Handle are working with a leading major company who are in search of a well-organised and enthusiastic coordinator to fortify their International Copyright team. Your contributions will be instrumental in the global registration of songwriter copyright data and the provision of indispensable assistance to our rights holders in delivering top-tier worldwide administrative services. Key responsibilities:

  • Maintain precise registrations of the company's global catalogue.
  • Assist in the prompt and accurate dissemination of copyright data to CMOs, sub-publishers, online processing partners, and third-party licensees, ensuring weekly distributions to over 50 recipients.
  • Conduct routine evaluations of high-profile works and catalogues registered with CMOs, identifying issues and collaborating with local affiliates for resolutions.
  • Collect and analyse statistics to aid global affiliates in meeting KPI targets.
  • Handle international queries from affiliate offices, sub-publishers, and societies to ensure timely royalty distribution to our writers and clients.
  • Contribute to internal testing and the implementation of industry-standard formats and processes, including CWR, CAF, IAS, and IRS.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance administrative efficiency across all areas.
  • Participate in team and department meetings.
  • Represent the Global Copyright team in regular meetings with our global affiliate offices.
  • Foster cross-departmental collaboration to streamline and improve overall administrative processes.
  • Conduct testing of new system enhancements and contribute to the ongoing development of copyright and royalty systems, client portals, and royalty applications.
  • Handle ad-hoc projects that may arise.
  • Assist the team with international agreement registrations.

  • A music enthusiast who appreciates the creative process and is dedicated to serving our songwriters and rights holders.
  • Organisational skills are exceptional, and attention to detail is second nature.
  • You thrive in a multitasking environment, adept at effective time management, prioritisation, and project planning to meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivation and results-oriented thinking are your strengths, and you have a track record of improving performance and processes.
  • Flexible and constructive team player.
  • Investigative skills are intuitive, allowing you to think beyond immediate problems and connect the dots.
  • You possess intermediate to advanced Excel skills, proficient in manipulating, managing, analysing, and comparing data sets.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • You have knowledge of CWR and related registration file formats and their application.
  • Previous experience in a music company.
  • Advanced Excel skills (Power Pivot, Power Query).
  • Familiarity with analytic/programming tools such as Alteryx, Python, SQL, or Tableau.
