Customer Marketing Manager - Entertainment

11 month contract

If you are a Marketing Manager with experience in retail and a passion for entertainment and media, then this is a fantastic 11 month contract role with the possibility to extend.

Our client has a huge portfolio of iconic entertainment and they are looking for someone to work alongside the marketing and sales team to create and implement the best customer facing activities and retail solutions that will ultimately maximise content for purchasing value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support in the development planning of customer UK and Ireland strategies
  • Work closely with sales and marketing to deliver plans and presentations for retail goals
  • Work with the senior Customer Marketing Manager to liaise between sales and marketing - ensuring key organizational objectives are met
  • Work with marketing, creative services and sales to manage budgets
  • Create and implement specific retailer promotion
  • Understand the in-store and online environment for specific retailer trading strategies
  • Be the expert retailer and monitor and report customer compliance, competitive initiatives and market/ customer trends
  • Build, manage and deliver robust merchandising plan of activity to support new releases across retailers
  • Spend time in store to enhance understanding of logistics and operations

You will have

  • Experience in marketing or a commercial role
  • Previous experience working in a retail environment
  • Understanding of home entertainment/ games product and industry knowledge
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work well in a team
  • A creative and persuasive attitude
  • Proficient experience in Microsoft word, excel and PowerPoint
