We are seeking a commercially driven Digital Content Marketing Manager to join our client's Global Digital Team. This role will lead AI-driven content strategy, SEO, blog development and digital PR to drive brand visibility and sustainable organic growth across international markets.
Working cross-functionally with Brand, PR, Creator, Onsite Content and Digital Delivery teams - alongside external agencies - you will deliver integrated campaigns that increase traffic, engagement and revenue.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who combines strategic thinking with strong execution and thrives in a fast-paced, performance-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Transformation
- Lead SEO strategy during an e-commerce platform migration (Hybris to Shopify), safeguarding traffic, rankings and revenue.
- Implement SEO-friendly Shopify architecture (URLs, templates, redirects, indexation).
- Define KPIs, monitor risk, and drive post-migration optimisation to restore and grow performance.
SEO & Content Strategy
- Develop and execute a data-led SEO content strategy to improve organic visibility.
- Own on-site SEO across product and category pages (metadata, structure, optimisation).
- Lead blog planning, creation and optimisation aligned to commercial goals.
- Conduct keyword research and apply SEO best practice.
- Manage SEO agency partners and performance reporting.
LLM / AI Content Optimisation
- Own strategy for AI/LLM content optimisation across search and retrieval experiences.
- Build scalable content frameworks to improve AI discoverability and citation.
- Guide creator content production in line with AI ingestion best practice.
- Define roadmaps, priorities and success metrics for AI content initiatives.
Digital PR & Collaboration
- Manage digital PR agencies to deliver SEO-led authority and category growth.
- Align PR, affiliate and influencer activity to create cohesive campaigns.
- Report on SEO, content and digital PR performance.
- Manage budgets effectively and monitor industry trends.
About You
- Strong background in SEO and digital content, ideally within retail or e-commerce.
- Hands-on executor with strategic oversight capability.
- Confident using Gen-AI tools for content creation and optimisation.
- Experienced in managing agencies and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Data-driven, analytical and commercially minded.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
Work Environment
Hybrid working: three days per week in the office, with the remainder remote.
