Job Title: Sales Administrative Assistant - E-commerce

Reports to: Sales Manager - E-commerce

The Role:

A leading footwear brand who is a 'Digital First' business that has a presence in UK, USA, Canada, and EU is looking for an E-commerce Sales administrative assistant to join their business.

As part of this strategy, we're looking for a talented and passionate Sales Administrative Assistant for pure player accounts to join our new B2B global team. You will be focused on driving excellence in the marketplace & pure player channels and building strong relationships with your key contacts.

You'll have a foundation of Ecommerce knowledge within a retail environment, and you'll be looking to really build your digital career. As well as coming armed with an irresistible personality, extraordinary attention to detail, you'll need to be organised and have a 'get up and go' mentality to become a master in our busy digital department. You'll thrive at the idea of providing support to the busy Digital B2B team with the aim of maximising the online trading opportunities.

You'll be a Sales Administrative Assistant or Assistant Buyer with experience with online accounts (such as Amazon or Zalando). You'll be a WINNER, driven to exceed your individual and our company number with the knack of building and maintaining amazing relationships with your accounts as well as your colleagues. As we continue to drive our brand messaging across our channels, you'll also be a guardian for how we look and feel across our online accounts, working with our digital teams globally to maintain consistency of our campaigns.

The Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinate the actions to drive sustainable growth of the assigned account base in line to the yearly budget; this includes accounts such as Amazon, Zalando and Otto.
  • Support Sales Manager - Ecommerce with seasonal sell in by preparing selling tools including, range books, product templates and price lists for each account.
  • Assist with preparation of sell out data in order to inform assortment and marketing decisions to optimise in-season trade.
  • Participate in internal Range Review meetings and support Sales Manager with selections and forecasting by account.
  • Manage the order book, ensuring on-time delivery and optimal levels of inventory are maintained. Communicate delivery updates to key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Co-ordinate the day to day running of the wholesale and marketplace accounts with the Customer Service, Supply Chain & Planning team.
  • Own the back-end processes that make the digital accounts run smoothly including setting up product, monitoring the website activity, setting up promotions and running reports.
  • Build a close partnership with the digital team (based both here in the UK and globally) to bring brand consistency to our 3rd party e-commerce sites.
  • Work with the marketing team on seasonal co-op marketing campaigns to promote the brand and new collection.
  • Work with the digital marketing team to track and drive traffic, conversion and ROAS.
  • Build strong business relationships with the buyer & merchandising teams to support the continued growth.

The Person:

  • Sales Administration or Buying Assistant experience in online or marketplace environment within fashion / footwear / FMCG (footwear experience is of course a bonus, but we recognize great salespeople can come from several industries)
  • Computer literacy, comfortable operating in different systems and proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel.
  • Great attention to detail, super organised and a natural problem solver.
  • Strong communication skills, customer orientated with a collaborative approach and, great at building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Financially savvy and understands the levers to drive profitability.
  • Flexible and approachable, comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.
