We're excited to be recruiting for a Sales Executive role with a globally recognised distributor of classic films on behalf of major studios. As a Sales Executive, you'll play a key role in driving sales of classic films to cinema chains, cinematheques, and film festivals across the DACH and Benelux markets.

*Please note that this role can either be based in Glasgow or London, German language skills is a requirement. Salary £27,500 + company-based performance bonus*

As the Sales Executive your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing (under guidance and supervision of Sales Director and Sales Managers) a pro-active sales strategy for the DACH and Benelux markets.
  • Processing a high volume of inbound theatrical sales enquiries from cinemas, cinematheques and film festivals, converting leads into to sales and upselling other relevant titles.
  • Holding regular client meetings either face to face or via video call to drive sales with potential international travel on occasion.
  • Using the rights management system to accurately input, update and manage data from end to end of the sales process.
  • Working closely with Sales Managers and Director on sales reporting in the relevant territories and measuring performance against budget targets.
  • Support the wider sales team with a variety of tasks, including processing internal and external reports required on a weekly and ad hoc basis.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A proven track record in a pro-active sales role with accountability for delivering revenue targets.
  • Proficiency in German speaking skills, ideally with experience working in the DACH and/or Benelux markets.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage own workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working in the film or media industry, particularly in sales. Outside industry experience may be considered based on transferable experience/skills, but a passion for film is a must!
