Fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Assistant within a creative, and innovate team has arisen within their London office. This is a great opportunity to join the team during an exciting time of growth and development.

As an Accounts Assistant, you will responsible for a variety of Purchase Ledger duties and will be providing administrative support to the wider team including Credit Control for a number of entities. You will be reporting directly into the Finance Director and Assistant Finance Manager.

We are looking for someone who is highly organised, detail-driven, a confident nature, and the ability to build relationships. The successful candidate will ideally have a solid understanding of general accounting procedures as well as obtain strong administration and data entry skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sales invoicing
  • Credit control
  • Regular liaising with the sales teams to aid in procuring POs for client campaigns
  • Client invoice queries
  • Coding and entering of credit card expenses across the group
  • Providing reports on spend
  • Weekly coding and maintaining the Petty Cash system
  • Maintaining and reconciling PayPal transactions
  • Providing monthly reports for the Finance Director
  • Supporting the Finance team with all areas of general accounts administration

REQUIREMENTS

  • Ideally would have 3 years experience working as part of a finance function
  • A background within the Creative sector is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of general accounting procedures and financial administration
  • Prior experience with purchase ledger and credit control would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The confidence to build and maintain professional working relationships
  • Highly organised and ability to work in a fast paced environment adhering to deadlines
  • A keen interest in the Media/Creative industry would be great!
