Working closely with the Managing Director and Head of Entertainment, you will deliver exceptional client work while helping drive the continued growth and reputation of the department.

The Role

As Associate PR Director (Entertainment), you will:

Client Delivery

  • Lead the day-to-day running of multiple entertainment and personal PR campaigns from strategy through to execution
  • Provide strategic guidance and creative direction to clients and internal teams
  • Maintain a results-focused mindset, ensuring consistently excellent delivery
  • Build and nurture trusted relationships with clients, talent managers and agents, broadcasters/streamers and brand partners
  • Manage events and media activity including red carpets, junkets, shoots, award shows and brand partnerships
  • Anticipate and manage reputational and crisis issues with discretion and professionalism
  • Ensure all client communications meet the agency's standards for quality, accuracy and tone

Media & Industry Expertise

  • Maintain extensive, active relationships across the UK showbiz and entertainment media landscape
  • Leverage a strong network across dailies/tabloids, magazines and supplements, TV/radio producers and guest bookers, and online/digital outlets
  • Confidently pitch, negotiate and secure major features, exclusives and interviews
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the entertainment ecosystem, from talent and media to stylists, photographers and creative directors
  • Turn creative ideas into standout coverage, partnerships and cultural moments

Commercial & New Business

  • Support and contribute to new business opportunities, proposals and pitches
  • Identify and drive organic growth within existing accounts
  • Represent the agency externally at events and within the wider industry, championing our creative work and showcasing what we do for clients

People & Leadership

  • Line-manage, coach and develop junior team members, building their skills, confidence and media knowledge
  • Run regular one-to-ones and provide ongoing feedback and mentorship
  • Set a high standard for organisation, communication and client service
  • Help foster a collaborative, inclusive and positive team culture in line with agency values
  • Work closely with the Head of Entertainment on campaign oversight, workload and new business priorities

Operations & Delivery

  • Oversee timelines, budgets and resources across your own campaigns and those of junior staff
  • Maintain excellent organisation and attention to detail across all workstreams
  • Act as a point of escalation for clients and colleagues, resolving challenges calmly and effectively
  • Uphold creative standards and ensure processes and quality benchmarks are consistently met

Skills & Experience

  • Significant experience in entertainment or personal PR (agency background preferred)
  • Proven track record managing entertainment personalities and high-profile campaigns
  • Strong, active relationships with UK showbiz and entertainment media
  • Experience managing shoots, events and red carpets, with confidence handling complex logistics
  • Demonstrable experience coaching and developing junior colleagues
  • Skilled in crisis communications and reputation management
  • Strategic and creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Proactive and commercially aware, comfortable taking ownership and driving outcomes
  • Calm under pressure, adaptable and highly organised
  • Excellent writing, pitching and interpersonal communication skills
  • Empathetic, people-focused and intuitive, able to read situations and support clients thoughtfully
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, high-profile environment

Non-Negotiables

  • Direct experience representing individual talent or high-profile entertainment personalities
  • Existing, strong media network across national showbiz and entertainment titles
  • Confidence leading full campaign cycles and managing clients autonomously
  • Proven ability to mentor and upskill junior team members
