Finance Business Partner needed for a rapidly growing global media brand! This is a very broad role that has a great mix of FP&A, accounting/reporting and business partnering. This is a 6-month fixed term contract, that does have the potential to turn permanent upon completion. My client is looking for an experienced Financial Accountant/Business Partner who has worked in the media industry previously.
Key responsibilities include -
- Assist with the month-end/year processes - cost accruals, balance sheet preparation, cashflow reporting etc.
- Produce detailed variance analysis for management accounts
- Preparation of annual budget and quarterly forecasts
- Provide weekly cashflow forecasts and assist with bank transfers/treasury management
- Perform in-depth financial analysis across P/L, balance sheet and cashflow
- Act as a key Business Partner to various senior management across EMEA
- Support the strategic plans of the EMEA business, providing recommendations as appropriate
Candidate requirements -
- Qualified Accountant - CIMA/ACCA/ACA
- Have strong knowledge of both financial reporting and FP&A
- Be a proven Business Partner who has worked with both finance and non- finance professionals
- Experience of working with large databases and of analysing and interpreting financial information
- Significant experience of the application of governance and control principles
