We have an excellent opportunity for a Finance Manager to join vibrant Entertainment business based in the heart of London on a permanent basis. A successful candidate needs to be qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) and ideally have strong background within the media and entertainment sector.
We are looking for a vibrant individual to be able to get stuck in with a fantastic can do attitude, alongside excellent organisation and time management with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast moving environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES (but not limited to):
Manage all day-to-day finance operations
Design and improve financial processes that support the businesses growth as we continue to scale
month end process - journals, and bank reconciliations
Ensure all music event P&L costs are within legal contracts, and liaise any discrepancies
Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including events deposits, and fixed asset register
Process people changes to the payroll provider
Provide an updated cash flow report on a weekly basis
Prepare quarterly VAT returns
SKILLS:
Strong organisational skills
Excellent time management.
Possess excellent core accounting skills
Experience within the entertainment industry
A credible, trusted individual who can work well independently, and keen to get
Experience using an accounting system, with strong IT skills; particularly MS Excel
Accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
