Handle Recruitment are proud to be partnering with one of the most successful and dynamic entertainment companies in the industry in their search for a Financial Accountant.

This is a newly created position, offering the opportunity to sit at the heart of a well-established and high-performing finance team. The position will play a central role in the group consolidation process, working across multiple business units including production, management, live, and creative.

The Role: Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will take ownership of group reporting, compliance, and statutory processes, ensuring strong financial controls across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

Financial Reporting, Controls & Compliance

  • Preparation of annual Group consolidations

  • Preparation of Group and subsidiary statutory accounts, including tax workings

  • Filing dormant statutory accounts, compliance statements and related documentation

  • Supporting preparation for the annual audit

  • Overseeing group companies' overhead costs and audit accruals

  • Acting as the main point of contact for auditors for the management business

  • Overseeing preparation of annual financial statements

Tax & Regulatory

  • Posting corporation tax journals and reconciling tax balances

  • Calculating quarterly corporation tax payments on account

  • Preparing quarterly VAT returns

  • Preparing information for third-party P11D preparation

  • Filing annual PAYE Settlement Agreements

  • Managing annual tax compliance work

Additional Responsibilities

  • Ad hoc analysis, project work and financial reporting

  • Supporting continuous improvement of financial processes and controls

About You

  • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)

  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly in group consolidations and statutory reporting

  • Experience liaising with auditors

  • Happy to work in an office based role (5 days a week)

  • Confident managing tax and compliance processes

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail

  • Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
