This is a newly created position, offering the opportunity to sit at the heart of a well-established and high-performing finance team. The position will play a central role in the group consolidation process, working across multiple business units including production, management, live, and creative.
The Role: Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will take ownership of group reporting, compliance, and statutory processes, ensuring strong financial controls across the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
Financial Reporting, Controls & Compliance
Preparation of annual Group consolidations
Preparation of Group and subsidiary statutory accounts, including tax workings
Filing dormant statutory accounts, compliance statements and related documentation
Supporting preparation for the annual audit
Overseeing group companies' overhead costs and audit accruals
Acting as the main point of contact for auditors for the management business
Overseeing preparation of annual financial statements
Tax & Regulatory
Posting corporation tax journals and reconciling tax balances
Calculating quarterly corporation tax payments on account
Preparing quarterly VAT returns
Preparing information for third-party P11D preparation
Filing annual PAYE Settlement Agreements
Managing annual tax compliance work
Additional Responsibilities
Ad hoc analysis, project work and financial reporting
Supporting continuous improvement of financial processes and controls
About You
Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly in group consolidations and statutory reporting
Experience liaising with auditors
Happy to work in an office based role (5 days a week)
Confident managing tax and compliance processes
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong, qualified accountant looking to step into a broad, visible role within a fast-paced and creative environment.
