This is a newly created position, offering the opportunity to sit at the heart of a well-established and high-performing finance team. The position will play a central role in the group consolidation process, working across multiple business units including production, management, live, and creative.
The Role: Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will take ownership of group reporting, compliance, and statutory processes, ensuring strong financial controls across the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
Financial Reporting, Controls & Compliance
- Preparation of annual Group consolidations
- Preparation of Group and subsidiary statutory accounts, including tax workings
- Filing dormant statutory accounts, compliance statements and related documentation
- Supporting preparation for the annual audit
- Overseeing group companies' overhead costs and audit accruals
- Acting as the main point of contact for auditors for the management business
- Overseeing preparation of annual financial statements
Tax & Regulatory
- Posting corporation tax journals and reconciling tax balances
- Calculating quarterly corporation tax payments on account
- Preparing quarterly VAT returns
- Preparing information for third-party P11D preparation
- Filing annual PAYE Settlement Agreements
- Managing annual tax compliance work
Additional Responsibilities
- Ad hoc analysis, project work and financial reporting
- Supporting continuous improvement of financial processes and controls
About You
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly in group consolidations and statutory reporting
- Experience liaising with auditors
- Happy to work in an office based role (5 days a week)
- Confident managing tax and compliance processes
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
