An exclusive opportunity has become available for a qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Financial Controller to join an independent Live Music & Touring business.
The role is responsible for 2 direct reports and will be working alongside the Senior Stakeholders of the business.
The role will include but not be limited to:
- Preparing financial statements for clients including statutory accounts, management accounts and tour accounts/client settlements
- Maintaining accounting records on Sage 50 online
- Preparing monthly and quarterly retail and ecommerce royalty statements
- Preparing UK vat returns and EU vat returns, both monthly and quarterly
- Managing the workload of an account's assistant
- Preparing budgets for FEU (Foreign Entertainers Tax) purposes and payment thereof to UK Revenue where applicable
The successful candidate will be:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent
- Experience working within Live Music would be desirable but not essential
- A passion for music is essential!
