Head of Ecommerce - Media & Publishing

A fantastic brand new role with one of the biggest, global publishing houses is being advertised and here at Handle Recruitment, we're keen to speak with ecommerce specialists, with a love for media, publishing and retail.

This luxury, lifestyle publishing house are growing and keen to find a Head of Ecommerce to support in driving growth across subscriptions, products and memberships. This is a business integral role and you will be responsible for ecommerce optimisations through analysis, MVT and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving the commercial performance growth for the .co.uk site and the subscription webstore
  • Analysis and optimisation of all channels which drive traffic to the webstore to increase conversion and subscriptions
  • Management of 3rd party relationships
  • Optimise and analyse the customer journey to help shape strategy and marketing activity
  • Lead, manage and motivate the ecommerce team
  • Monitor the webstore analytics against agreed KPI's to ensure that business objectives are met
  • Implementation of an SEO strategy which will help drive more subscriptions

You Will Have:

  • Demonstrable experience in a senior ecommerce role
  • Team leadership exposure, with the ability to drive and support a team
  • Agency management experience
  • A passion for retail and publishing, the desire and gravitas to work for one of the world's most well renowned publishing houses
