Handle are partnering with a renowned production company who have an exciting newly created opportunity for a Head of HR to join their expanding team. This well established organisation of around 50 people produces high calibre and much loved creative content and is a leader in its field.

With the success of their content and the growth of the workforce, they want to bring in a HR Leader from the creative industries who will ensure their People strategy and function aligns with their culture and values. The new Head of HR will play a vital role in the business, reporting into the MD and having full ownership for creating and delivering the people strategy and running the day to day HR operations.

This will be a very broad generalist role and an opportunity for someone looking to head up a function in a creative business where there is not much established! You will really get under the skin of the business, rehash what they do have in place and shape a fit for purpose HR strategy that is bespoke to them. Working with the support of the resource manager who looks after the freelancer population, there will be future scope to add to the team based on how the business and your new function evolves.

Ideal candidates will bring experience in creative industries and be used to the energy and pace as well as the strong personalities found within these organisations! You'll have brilliant influencing skills and the gravitas to place the HR agenda at the top level in the business - people are absolutely on board with bringing in this role however there will still be an aspect of this role holder proving HR's value.

Some key areas of strategic focus you'll bring will be around DE&I and Wellbeing, which have been really highlighted across the TV industries over recent times. As well as strategy you'll also be happy to roll up your sleeves and build, auditing their HR ops, looking at processes, HRIS, org charts etc

Salary depending on experince and open to full or part time
