Handle are working with an iconic event start up to bring on a proactive Head of People to their team.
Reporting directly into the SLT, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a first-class People strategy that serves the needs and ambitions of the business. This includes acting as a trusted team lead that can confidently manage the small team as the business goes through a period of growth. Operating at both a strategic and operational level, this is a role where you can really make your mark and elevate the business and its people offering.
The ideal candidate will have a collaborative approach to work, ready to connect your work with the wider people strategy around DEI, culture, values, and the commercial business plan. You will have strong knowledge of UK employment legislation, and have demonstrable experience supporting with complex ER issues. Hybrid working is available, but as it is a multi-site business, they need a candidate who is happy to be in the office for the majority of the week.
