Interim Commercial Financial Controller wanted for a rapidly growing creative agency! This is a stand-alone role in the UK but works closely with the wider finance team in Germany. My client is looking for a forward-thinking Financial Controller whose main interim focus will be to help prepare for next year's budget. Previous agency experience is essential for this one!

Key responsibilities include -

Oversee all financial planning and analysis activities, ensuring full compliance and alignment with group standards
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash planning processes to support sound financial decision-making
Ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality monthly and annual reporting for submission to the Group FP&A team
Drive business performance with a strong focus on cost efficiency and operational excellence
Act as a commercial sparring partner to management and the wider organisation, supporting strategic and financial decisions
Serve as an active member of the management team, contributing to overall business leadership and governance

Candidate requirements -

Have worked in a similar senior finance role within a creative agency
Be an accomplished finance professional with deep expertise in controlling, value flows, and supply chain management
Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to driving improvement
Bring proven leadership experience, ideally gained within an agency or similarly fast-paced environment
Qualified Accountant - ACA/ACCA or CIMA
