Interim Finance Analyst needed for an extremely popular, blue-chip media giant! Working in the largest revenue generating division, the Finance Analyst will be accountable for assisting with commercial business decisions, through detailed analysis data & intelligence. This is a newly created position and a fantastic opportunity, for an experienced, Excel savvy candidate.
Key responsibilities include -
- Implement KPI frameworks linked to the business goals
- Assisting with the monthly forecast process, including consolidating multiple planning models and providing analysis to the wider group
- Updating weekly forecasts and providing analysis to the wider group
- Working closely with the Regional Finance Teams to ensure accounting alignments across the globe
- Suggest changes/improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency
- Support other forecasting activities as required including for flash, quarterly forecasts and full year Budget
- Ad hoc analysis/insight as required
Candidate requirements -
- 3+ years' experience as a business analyst or a highly commercial financial analyst role
- Proven track record of using data to drive business decisions with strong analytical skills
- Highly proficient using Excel/Powerpoint
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities
- Degree Educated preferred
