Our client, a leading global film production group, are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Accountant to join their team.

Based in the heart of London, the successful candidate will be sitting within a dynamic finance department, responsible for the following tasks:

Preparing payment runs and processing purchase invoices
Maintaining and monitoring the full creditors ledger, including creditors reconciliations
Managing queries from external and internal stakeholders through to resolution
Posting purchase ledger entries into the accounting system (e.g. invoices, payments & allocations)
Supporting VAT processing, including assisting with preparation of quarterly VAT return
Performing month end balance sheet reconciliations
Assisting with wider month end closing
Training operational teams on PO raising, SAP coding

The Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years accounts payable experience
Studying ACA/ACCA/CIMA or similar
Experience with SAP is preferred
Intermediate Excel or higher (nested functions, pivot tables)
Strong communication skills, with the ability to coherently interact with non-finance personnel
Proactive, analytical and enthusiastic
