IT Infrastructure Specialist - London/hybrid - £43,775
Handle have teamed up with one of the most famous galleries in London to recruit a passionate IT Infrastructure Specialist to join their Information Support Team.
Your new role
You will play a key part in keeping the galleries information systems available and secure so the business teams can deliver across all its back end and front of house services.
Essentially you will be instrumental in making sure the gallery succeeds in everything from analytics/asset management through to sales and exhibitions.
You will have strong technical skills and be responsible for the planning, commissioning and upkeep of secure systems infrastructure (including servers & corporate Applications) for onsite and cloud environments.
Key skills and responsibilities
- Strategic development of the gallery's IT System Infrastructure
- Maintain and develop an available and resilient environment for the delivery of virtual desktops to staff on and off site.
- Delivery of a security patching schedule that minimises system downtime whiles still meeting deadlines for patch installation.
- Maintain and develop alerting and monitoring systems using PRTG to provide early warning of system problems / failures.
- Be able to design, administer and configure a multi-host VMWare ESXi hypervisor including configuration for high-availability and support for, primarily, Windows Server operating systems, including support of these interfaces to multiple VLANs.
- Ability to administer and maintain a secure SAN hardware infrastructure configured for high availability support for the virtual environment and storage for gallery digital assets.
- Design, implement and integrate databases using SQL Server
- Admin of Windows based infrastructure, including SCCM, Active Directory, domain management systems and PKI infrastructure.
