We are looking for a Media Planner with 3-4 year's experience, and has an interest in media buying, digital marketing, education and youth development.

You will be responsible for putting ads in the right place at the right time, reaching their desired audience. You will select media platforms that best suit the brand and product that will be advertised, producing financial and media plans and forecasts.

Salary - £35,000-£40,000

Location - SE1, Hybrid 2-3 days in the office

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifying which media platforms are best to reach their core target audience and building fully costed campaign approaches that help reach campaign objectives
  • Support the Head of NSP & Media in identifying and documenting the right channels beyond the National Schools Partnership: publications, networks, blogs, forums, educational FB pages, educational tweets, etc.
  • Planning and executing multi-channel communication campaigns for their projects across the full channel mix (e-comms, social, display and video)
  • Work closely with the Data Manager and Data Executive:
  • Taking responsibility for the weekly activity schedule for your set campaigns
  • Briefing the data team on data and profiling requirements for campaigns per comms plan and reporting on campaign results
  • Analyse data, think creatively and design innovative strategies to make sure client marketing campaigns reach their target audience in the most effective way possible
  • Assess the impact and suitability of different media types (social, video, display, email) used to target certain markets based on client's needs and wants
  • Develop various options for media plans based on the client's objectives
  • Analyse the client's post-campaign results and recommending refinements
  • Interact with internal and external partners to evaluate, implement, and maintain a media plan
  • Create or recommend certain media strategies to attract and retain customers, increase the client's brand recognition, and maintain and increase customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Work closely with clients to understand needs, wants, and objectives, and then determine which media channels fit best for specific campaigns
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns to help inform future ones
  • Support Client Servicing teams in reporting on campaign effectiveness (Google Analytics, Power BI, Dot Digital)
  • Representing the agency in client facing meetings being able to confidently talk through the recruitment and activation strategies that are being executed, their results and potential strategies for success

You will Have:

  • 3-4 years relevant digital marketing/media planning and buying experience
  • Experience of Dot Digital, iContact, Mailchimp or equivalent platform.
  • Social media savvy and knowledge of platforms such as FB, IG, Twitter, Pinterest and TikTok
  • Ability to build good relationships
  • A passion for education and reaching young people and their families
  • Good presentation skills and a confidence to engage with clients
  • Experience of Google analytics, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Computer literate and confident with database use
