Membership Operations Manager

Salary up to £38K (DOE)

Hybrid - 2 days in office

Handle Recruitment are thrilled to be working with a leading non-for-profit professional membership association within the music industry to source a Membership Operations Manager.

A critical role within the organisation to support the exciting growth and development plans which are happening, this role will not only focus on member recruitment, growth and retention but will also be responsible for implementing a CRM strategy to optimise membership conversion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and implement membership strategies to drive recruitment, retention, and engagement.

  • Oversee membership systems and processes, enhancing engagement and CRM growth.

  • Optimise CRM data for effective segmentation and create insightful reports.

  • Develop and execute targeted member campaigns using CRM technology.

  • Enhance member benefits and oversee service delivery.

  • Coordinate and manage relationships with external suppliers and consultants.

  • Build relationships with stakeholders and support partnership and sponsorship growth.

  • Lead outreach initiatives and manage membership-related projects.

  • Assist in planning and executing member events.

  • Manage budgets efficiently to ensure cost-effective operations.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in developing and executing membership strategies to boost engagement.

  • Proficiency in CRM systems, data analysis, and segmentation management.

  • Ability to design and manage effective, data-driven CRM campaigns.

  • Experience integrating CRM and related systems, such as payment and event platforms.

  • Strong understanding of GDPR and privacy laws impacting member data.

  • Proven project management skills with a focus on member engagement.

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with members and partners.

  • Commercial awareness and experience managing budgets and contracts.

  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

  • Knowledge of trends affecting songwriters and composers in the music industry.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
