An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Midweight Graphic Designer with a strong background in branding to join an iconic children's books company in London.

Have you worked in entertainment or with children's brands? This role offers the chance to collaborate with some of the world's best storytellers and creative minds, bringing stories to life through imaginative and engaging design solutions.

You'll take responsibility for creative design across a wide range of areas, including brand partnerships, marketing, publishing, social media, and more - using a variety of visual styles and approaches to captivate audiences and strengthen the brand's identity.

  • Location? London's West End - 2 days in office 3 remote - 6 months contract.
  • Pay? £210 per day + holiday pay (PAYE).

Key duties:

  • Brainstorm initial ideas and develop them through to fully formed concepts
  • Lead the creative direction on specific projects, demonstrating strong design, project management, and relationship-building skills
  • Develop brand guidelines, style guides, and art packs
  • Create toolkits, particularly for the Marketing, Publishing, and Theatre teams
  • Design highly innovative product concepts and mock-ups
  • Produce high-quality Google Slides presentations across departments, often within tight deadlines

Skills:

  • Ideally have at least five years' experience working as a designer
  • Possess branding experience and an understanding of, or experience within, the entertainment industry
  • Be a highly confident and capable designer - a sharp eye for detail and an understanding of the bigger picture
  • Set and uphold a high creative standard for yourself and your work
  • Be ready to lead and deliver design projects from concept through to completion
  • Feel comfortable working within established brand guidelines, while also having the creativity and confidence to evolve and expand them where appropriate
