Handle are recruiting for a Part-Time Bookkeeper to work for a leading player in the Publishing Industry. Working part time working schedule (2-3 days per week of candidate's choice) the bookkeeper position will be responsible for the company transactions and will support the FD in everyday finance duties:
Responsibilities will include.
Bookkeeping using Xero and Microsoft Excel
Generating client sales invoices
Downloading client royalty statements and maintain the schedule
Update client commission schedule
Maintain client bookkeeping system and filing of sales and purchase invoices
Scan and file client correspondence
Ad hoc admin duties
The successful candidate must add value to a close-knit team, and demonstrate;
Must have worked in Media previously;
Excellent Excel skills;
Hands-on, energetic, proactive, self-starter who is able to work to tight deadlines;
Strong attention to detail essential;
Confident in working in an evolving business;
Experience in television or advertising environment preferred;
Experience of Xero
The successful candidate will have worked in an accounting function and have experience of working within ideally Media.
