A vibrant and creative West End business are looking for a Payroll Supervisor to join their finance team on a 3 month fixed term contract. Reporting into the Payroll Manager, this role will require hands on involvement in running the weekly payroll, supervision of the Payroll Administrator and ad-hoc assistance to the wider finance team.
The Role
- Ensure that payroll deadlines are met on weekly basis
- Manage data to ensure accuracy when processing the payroll and ensuring all information is up to date
- Identifying and resolving any pay related discrepancies prior to payroll sign off
- Manage ad-hoc payroll requests including manual calculations (Maternity pay, Jury Duty, Sickness etc.)
- Managing and calculating pension contributions accurately in line with contracts
- Liaising directly with external pay related services as and when required (HMRC)
- Managing and reviewing the work of the Payroll Administrator and providing support and guidance
The Candidate
- 4+ years' experience working on a large weekly payroll with a fast turnaround
- Supervisory experience managing junior staff members
- Prior ADP system usage would be highly desirable
- Immediately available to start
- An interest in the arts and live performance would be preferable
