Fantastic opportunity for a lead HR Generalist to join a growing SME creative brand. This is an exciting new role that will be key in supporting the senior leadership team with the longer-term growth potential, ensuring that the people side of the business is aligned to the overall strategic objectives.
You will own the People function and have 2x direct reports:- People Coordinator and an Office Manager. This role will report into the CEO.
The ideal candidate will have experience working within a SME and/or start-up organisation, ideally in digital, music, creative or media. You will be comfortable managing recruitment as there will be a lot of this to begin with as they grow. You will have great project management skills, experience in implementing policies/processes and keen to grow and develop with the business.
You will have good knowledge of UK employment law and company policies - any EU employment law knowledge would be beneficial as you may have to support the offices in Poland and Italy on some HR elements.
You will have the confidence and gravitas to push the people agenda and be able to present at board level from time to time - sometimes once a month. You will be willing to act as a true partner to the business and coach at all levels.
