Handle People Experience team are partnering with a leading media organisation looking for a London based People Director to join their international team on the production side of the business.

Partnering with a growing, commercial and creative client group this role will provide generalist HR leadership and deliver a high level of HR service to the business, proactively engaging on all people related activities.

Reporting the London based CPO you will be a trusted partner working closely with Exec level and Leadership teams in the business on culture, organisational design, performance and the hiring of both internal and external talent. You will develop HR strategy to enable the growth and strategic plans of the business to flourish.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to step up into a Director position, you'll enjoy developing close relationships with client groups and bring a highly adaptable, flexible approach. It's a creative environment, and this role will provide expert advice, solutions and strong partnering in a way that aligns with their creativity

Ideal skills and experience

  • Strategic HR Generalist background with strengths in driving culture change, coaching and development
  • You will have experience in leading on HR initiatives within a busy & creative environment, where you've lead through periods of change
  • You will be able to engage, build trust, and nurture strong relationships within a creative production environment
  • You will have worked in a complex, matrix organisation and have the ability to navigate the complexities whist still offering a bespoke partnership approach to the business you work in
  • You'll be highly People focused, relationship driven and able to flex, identifying creative ways in which to engage them in all people related activity
  • You'll have a passion for and affinity with media/ creative industry environment

The role is based from the businesses fabulous central London hub, and they have a hybrid working model (typical 3/2)
