Are you a proactive Comp & Bens Manager looking for a role where things move fast and you can make a real impact from day one? We're looking for a motivated, analytical, and strategic thinking Reward professional to join a busy and high-performing team supporting a UK business.
This isn't your typical C&B role! You'll own a broad remit, juggling payroll validation, benefits administration, compensation projects, and people analytical, as well as guiding & developing a small team. If you thrive in a fast-moving, high-volume environment and love a mix of strategic project work ad day to day delivery this could be the role for you.
What the day to day looks like:
- Validate payroll instructions and ensure compliance with relevant laws.
- Oversee benefits processes and annual renewals, making recommendations
- Lead pay review and bonus processes, and analyse employee data for trends and insights.
- Manage projects from start to finish: living wage analysis, gender pay gap reporting, salary benchmarking etc
- Offer expert guidance to HR Business Partners and key stakeholders across the business.
- Mentor and develop a small team, ensuring day-to-day operations run efficiently.
Experience we're looking for:
- Data-driven & analytical: Excel whizz, comfortable with data analysis, Power BI a bonus.
- Strategic & operational: Balance daily operations with process improvement and long-term thinking.
- Team leader & collaborator: Manage a small team, work closely with stakeholders, and drive projects to completion.
- Proactive problem-solver: See a challenge? Take ownership and fix it.
- Agile & resilient: Thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
- Payroll & benefits knowledge: Experience with payroll validation, benefits admin, and compensation processes; HRIS experience (ideal in Workday, Oracle or PeopleSoft)
