Handle Recruitment are proud to be working alongside a globally recognised Music Company in recruiting a Royalty Manager to join their busy team working in the heart of London. This exciting and uniquely varied role requires a candidate with comprehensive royalties and revenue experience obtained within the music sector.

The Royalties Manager will be responsible for some of the core functions of the royalties and revenue department and the requisite reporting and analytical requirements.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Royalty Audit, reviewing audit reports and authorising settlements

  • Commercial markets licensing, international repertoire licensing and third-party Licensing

  • Revenue Assurance and data analysis for investment purposes

  • Approval of month-end schedule and journals

  • Revenue analysis and key reporting

  • Approval of journals for monthly broadcasting income and cost accruals

  • Review of monthly royalty costs and recoupment

  • Key revenue and royalties reporting and project work

  • Approval of quarterly accounting and authorisation of payments

  • Providing year-end statutory auditors with required information

  • Ad Hoc projects and analysis

You will have previous exposure and experience of royalties, revenue, and/or data control function within the music industry. You will be highly skilled in using excel and royalties systems. You will have a hardworking attitude, love the music sector and be ready to get stuck in!
