In this role you will:
Develop and implement tailored career strategies for a roster of acclaimed composers.
Cultivate relationships with artists, promoters, and industry stakeholders to maximise opportunities.
Drive sales, negotiate engagements, and promote composers' work across various platforms, including media and live performance.
Manage contract negotiations, oversee royalties and financial administration, and ensure smooth contractual processes.
Seek out strategic partnerships, collaborations, and new ventures that align with the company's growth ambitions.
To be successful, you will need:
Proven experience (at least 4 years) managing composers or similar roles within the classical or contemporary music sectors.
Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
Knowledge of contract negotiation, rights management, and industry sales.
A genuine passion for contemporary music and a keen interest in artist development.
Excellent communication skills and an autonomous, proactive work style.
