Handle Recruitment are thrilled to be partnering with a fantastic music charity to source an experienced Senior Communications Manager. We are looking for an efficient team leader who is familiar with implementing large scale communication outputs such as marketing assets, external messaging and audience engagement.

The post-holder will be a collaborative worker with strong stakeholder management skills, as well as being skilled in identifying project needs and managing multiple project timelines accurately and effectively.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Team Management: Leading and supporting a team of four and conduct regular 1-on-1 meetings to promote development and address challenges.
  • Website Implementation: Assist in the launch of a new website and coordinate project management and guide team efforts.
  • Campaign Development: Participate in campaign planning and development and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance campaign impact.
  • Communications Development: Expedite and manage communication pieces and ensure compliance with timelines and brand standards.
  • Social Strategy Development: Support the development and execution of a social media strategy.
  • Campaign Support: Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns and engage internal stakeholders in campaign plans.
  • Brand Development: Guide the team in implementing new brand positioning and enhance fundraising messaging on various platforms.
  • General Communications Support: Maintain a collaborative approach to communications and support the team in maximizing communication opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong experience managing a multi-skilled Comms team
  • High level of written and verbal presentation skills.
  • Experience in leading the execution of an integrated communications strategy across digital, physical owned and bought platforms
  • Demonstrable management and influencing skills
  • Ability to analyse business needs and propose efficient communication solutions.
  • Previous charity comms experience is desirable
