Handle are proud to be working with a major international Music Company to recruit a Strategy and Investment Analyst for development of long- and short-term business planning. Based in the London Head Office you will be working to proactively develop strategy and make a significant impact on the direction this renowned and inspirational brand will take over the coming years.
Suitable for a qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA) the candidate will join the commercial strategy team and play a key role in the investments, commercial decision making by supporting key industry and business figures.
You will:
- Support the execution of the investment pipeline by conducting financial analysis, due diligence, and preparing key deal materials to ensure transactions meet defined financial and strategic KPIs
- Own the development and implementation of group strategic initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Rights Administration, Data and Finance to monitor and optimise asset performance
- Provide analytical support for initiatives to maximise value from owned assets
- Provide analytical support to potential business acquisitions and disposals
- Provide quarterly analysis of the company position relative to competitors
- Support the Heads of Strategy and Financial Planning and Analysis team on other projects
The ideal candidate will have a 2.1 degree and be a qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACA) and have demonstrable strategic background. Crucially, your previous experience will include modelling, ideally for business valuation, as this will form an integral part of your role. Music Industry experience is absolutely essential for this position.
