Tax Manager
I am seeking a Tax Manager for a Maternity Cover Contract with one of the leading music specialist firms of services to the music industry.
You will join the Tax department and report to the Senior Tax Manger, with true flexible hours.
Duties to include;
- To supervise the work of the department tax semi-senior.
- To review personal, partnership and corporation Tax Returns in a timely manner.
- Assisting with the effective running of the Tax Department, including workflow and statistics.
- To supervise the preparation of forms P11D.
- To assist with the preparation and submission of ATED Returns.
- To provide assistance to other departments in respect of taxation queries.
- To provide assistance to other client advisers.
- To supervise correspondence on routine matters with HMRC, via letter, email and telephone
- To supervise applications for certificates of residence, providing tax information for mortgage applications or for accountants/advisers in other tax jurisdictions.
- Keeping on top of the department filing and organisation including familiarity with Government Gateways and client authorisation procedures.
- To assist the Tax Senior Manager with ad-hoc projects that may arise.
To be a successful applicant for this role you will need to posses the following skills and qualifications:
Knowledge and Qualifications Preferred:
- Excel (General Microsoft Packages)
- CCH PerTax (or equivalent)
- CCH CorTax (or equivalent)
Industry Experience Preferred
- Working at an accounting firm or similar;
- Working in a tax role.
