We are excited to be working with a prestigious Music Accountancy firm in their search for a Tax Manager to work on a 12-14 month contract.

Suitable for a qualified CTA / ACCA / ACA accountant, the tax manager will become a key member of the firms UK Tax division and team and provide intrinsic and commercial tax advice to some of the best-known musicians/artists and bands in the world today.

Working on the frontline of this established Music Company this position will be a key element to the day-to-day tax service of a portfolio of clients and be responsible for, but not limited to the below tasks:

Responsibilities:

  • To supervise the work of the department tax semi-senior

  • To review personal, partnership and corporation Tax Returns in a timely manner

  • Assisting with the effective running of the Tax Department, including workflow and statistics

  • To supervise the preparation of forms P11D

  • To assist with the preparation and submission of ATED Returns

  • To provide assistance to other departments in respect of taxation queries

  • To provide assistance to other client advisers

  • To supervise correspondence on routine matters with HMRC

  • To assist the Tax Senior Manager with ad hoc projects that may arise.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified ACCA/ACA and CTA with post qualification experience

  • Ability to structure effective internal team processes and resources

  • Ability to identify and enhance business deliverables regarding client services

  • Effective and professional communicator with internal and external stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions

The successful candidate will have a real passion for the Music and the Entertainment industry and be experienced in dealing with the personal tax matters of high-net-worth individuals. You will have knowledge of the entertainment industry and the ability to communicate with none finance / creative individuals.

You will be a qualified accountant ACCA/ACA/CIMA/ CTA accountant.

US tax exposure is desirable.
