Temporary Part-Time Accounts Assistant needed for a market leading media brand for 2 days a week until October. The successful candidate will support the finance operations with a focus on supplier payments, invoice processing, and revenue tracking. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and work in a varied and hands-on finance support role!

Key responsibilities include -

  • Manage the supplier payment process, ensuring all invoices are accurately coded and submitted for approval

  • Raise and issue sales invoices for non-royalty contracts in accordance with agreed terms and timelines

  • Collaborate with the finance and rights management teams to reconcile reported royalties and ensure accuracy in revenue recognition

  • Monitor and manage the shared accounts inbox, ensuring that all correspondence is responded to in a timely manner

  • Act as the first point of contact for internal teams and external suppliers, addressing any payment queries promptly and efficiently

  • Liaise directly with the Accounts Payable team to coordinate and track payments

  • Process incoming invoices, ensuring accurate matching to purchase orders or approval chains, and maintaining clear digital filing systems

Candidate Requirements -

  • Previous experience in an accounts or finance assistant role

  • Familiarity with accounts payable and receivable processes

  • Experience working with entertainment/media/royalty-based revenue models

  • Prior knowledge of WorkDay is highly advantageous

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

  • Knowledge of supplier onboarding processes and AP best practices
