A new opening has arose for a VP of IT Service Operations and Infrastructure, they are the digital leader in global sports media. With 2,400 employees in 25 countries, they are home to the world's largest, fastest-growing sports streaming service.

What does your new role look like:

  • Define a vision, mission, strategy and roadmap for the Global IT Operations, Business Systems & Infrastructure team to deliver an outstanding service to the business
  • Take ownership of a comprehensive portfolio of business systems and services
  • Build stakeholder partnerships to understand and anticipate business needs then identify solutions to achieve strategic objectives to become the biggest sports streaming service globally
  • Ensure excellent levels of service for colleagues working remotely and in offices across UK, Americas, Asia and EMEA
  • Act as an escalation point for critical incidents, corporate lead projects, legal & compliance requests as well as contractual and audit obligations, e.g. TSA's, compliance certification, security vulnerabilities
  • Develop the team structure and operating model, adapting where needed as the business demands evolves
  • Define and apply standards to ensure the ongoing manageability of IT operation
  • Define and develop the service management framework for the corporate IT operations, ensuring there is appropriate metrics and KPIs in place to drive continuous improvement
  • Support the onboarding and offboarding of new vendors and maintaining the vendor relationships to ensure we are getting the best value we can and making the necessary savings when needed.
  • Build of our corporate infrastructure strategy, making sure it's stable and scalable for now and the future
  • Ensure we are compliant and secure across the IT operation.
  • Support managing the budget for the IT operation, managing within guardrails, and identify cost saving opportunities
  • Help strengthen and grow the existing teams across the IT Operation.
  • Look for new and innovative ways to bring an exceptional service, new tools and more to the business

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Proven technical and service Leader and passionate about working both as a team and individually to develop and succeed.
  • Responsible for the contractual delivery of the technical network infrastructure services that underpin business
  • Good Understanding of ITIL Framework and best practice
  • Experience of managing IT Service Operations, Business Systems, Infrastructure Teams
  • Excellent understanding of operating environments and systems
  • Able to follow set processes & procedures and highlight potential improvements
  • Able to converse with technical teams to troubleshoot hardware/software/network issues
  • Experience of working with a service desk to improve technical capability and output.
  • Experience of ServiceNow
  • A strong understanding and experience from a service perspective to be able to communicate in application packaging Mobile technology and management suites
  • Core on-premises services; Domain controllers, AD, DNS, DHCP, Certificates, File, Print, Backup, Storage technologies Microsoft Server operating systems and products such as M365, Azure, SSO and identity management technologies
  • Network technologies e.g., LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi, SD-WAN etc. VMWare technologies
  • Ability to unblock issues with third parties through relationships and escalations thereby minimising negative impacts on delivery.
  • Excellent organisational skills and time management. ITIL service management qualification
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Can interface with C suite
  • Able to commit to attending the office regularly
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel
  • 5-10+ years of relevant experience

If you have experience in OTT, Broadcast, Betting and eCommerce this would be beneficial but not essential.
