This hands-on leadership role is perfect for someone who is technically adept, commercially minded, and enjoys tackling complex infrastructure challenges in a fast-moving environment. You'll be at the heart of ensuring seamless technology operations which underpin the success of multiple locations and remote teams.

In this role you will:

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of various networks, platforms, and cloud services across multiple sites.
  • Lead, develop, and support a team of support and infrastructure engineers.
  • Maintain and optimise Microsoft, Mac, and virtualisation environments, with a focus on security and efficiency.
  • Manage cloud solutions including AWS, storage, and backup services, ensuring reliable and secure infrastructure.
  • Communicate technical issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders and implement scalable solutions.

To be successful, you will need:

  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Enterprise systems, VMware, and network infrastructure.
  • Solid understanding of cloud platforms like AWS, storage, backup, and web hosting.
  • Experience building and leading technical teams in a multi-site SME or start-up.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity practices and remote access technologies.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, accessible way.
