We are looking for an experienced and driven Finance Manager to join a hugely successful and growing Live Music and Events company in London. This is a key leadership role, working closely with the Finance Director and senior stakeholders to drive financial performance, improve processes, and support strategic decision-making. The successful candidate will take ownership of the finance function, lead a high-performing team, and play a critical role in shaping the financial future of the business. Key Responsibilities: Lead, develop, and motivate the finance team to deliver best-in-class finance operations Own the month-end and year-end close processes, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting, with clear insights and recommendations Review and improve finance processes across the business, including payroll and cross-functional workflows Act as the custodian of cashflow, managing forecasts and ensuring timely payments to employees, suppliers, and subcontractors Partner with the Finance Director on treasury, funding, and investment activities, including foreign currency management Oversee payroll processes in collaboration with People & Culture, ensuring accuracy and continuity Manage relationships with banking partners and support access to funding and credit facilities Deliver detailed financial and project-level analysis to support profitability and performance improvements Support budgeting processes and produce KPI scorecards for senior management Lead the audit process and act as the key contact for external auditors Identify financial risks and implement effective controls and mitigation strategies About You: Fully qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) with proven experience in a Finance Manager role Strong systems experience, including Sage 200 (finance) and Sage 50 (payroll) Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills Commercially minded with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Confident communicator, able to present financial information to senior stakeholders Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment A proactive leader who takes ownership and drives continuous improvement A collaborative team player who can also work autonomously The successful candidate will come from a strong technical accounting background from within the entertainment and music industry. We're working on a Assistant Accountant within a volunteer-led, global charitable organisation, supporting the Finance Managers in delivering accurate financial control, reporting, and accounting services across the organisation. The post plays a key part in ensuring robust financial processes underpin the charity's international work. This contract role sits at the intersection of treasury risk, balance sheet management, and regulatory reporting, with a strong emphasis on hands-on stress testing, scenario analysis, and liquidity risk assessment. This is a high-visibility position within a lean team, best suited to someone with practical, hands-on treasury risk experience rather than a purely reporting-focused background.
