Production Designer - Content Design
£330 - £345 per day + PAYE
A global entertainment and technology brand is looking for a talented, detail-oriented Production Designer to join its Content Design team in London for an initial 6 month contract.This is a London-based, hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in the office and 2 days working from home. This is not a remote position.This is a role for a designer with exceptional visual design skills, a strong aesthetic point of view, and a sharp eye for typography, composition, layout, and craft. You'll bring creative and technical problem-solving skills to a high-volume production environment, creating clear, compelling, and beautifully resolved visual experiences across digital, social, static, and print.You'll partner closely with Art Directors, Creative Directors, Creative Producers, and cross-functional teams to develop and deliver high-quality creative. You'll translate creative concepts into polished, production-ready visual design and work across high volumes of templates, adaptations, and deliverables, maintaining consistency and an exceptional level of craft at speed.An optimisation mindset is important in this role. You'll identify opportunities to improve workflows, processes, templates, and creative output while maintaining a high level of quality. You'll work iteratively, prototype visual solutions, troubleshoot technical and production challenges, and contribute ideas throughout the creative process.You'll bring a strong understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, composition, layout, colour, and visual systems, alongside an interest in or experience with motion design and moving image.We're looking for someone with 5-7 years of relevant design experience and a portfolio that demonstrates exceptional visual design, strong aesthetic judgement, impeccable typography and layout, and a high level of craft.You should have:Strong command of visual and communication design principles.Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.Experience with photo retouching and compositing.A strong understanding of typography, graphic design, photography, illustration, and visual storytelling.Interest in or experience with motion design.Experience working across digital, social, static, and/or print.Excellent creative and technical problem-solving skills.A highly collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively with designers, art directors, producers, and cross-functional partners.Experience managing high-volume creative production and multiple deliverables without compromising quality.Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.The ability to work independently, troubleshoot issues, and deliver highly resolved work with minimal supervision.A strong eye for contemporary visual culture, trends, and design.Basic understanding of UI/UX principles.Experience working within production specifications and maintaining accurate file structures and naming conventions.You're a designer who can think and execute quickly without losing sight of the details. You have excellent taste, a strong visual point of view, and the ability to turn complex problems into simple, elegant design solutions.You're equally comfortable developing an idea, refining a layout, building out a high-volume template system, or jumping into the details of a production challenge. You thrive in collaboration, communicate clearly, and know how to balance creative ambition with the realities of delivering at scale.You'll be comfortable working within an iterative process and partnering with creatives and producers to continuously optimise workflows, templates, and deliverables.A genuine passion for music, culture, design, typography, photography, and motion is highly valued.You'll need a portfolio demonstrating a high level of visual design and creative execution across digital, social, static, and/or print, alongside proven ability to manage high-volume production and deliver consistently high-quality work at pace.Experience working with global teams across time zones, and a passion for technology, entertainment, music, and contemporary culture, are highly valued.Location: London, UKWorking pattern: Hybrid - 3 days in the office, 2 days working from homeRemote working: Not available Handle Recruitment is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
