This week we’re celebrating Creative Access and the incredible impact of its co-founder and executive chair, Josie Dobrin.

After almost 15 years with the organisation, Josie has made the decision to move on, marking the end of a hugely influential chapter for one of the UK’s most important creative industry initiatives.

Founded in 2012, Creative Access was driven by a commitment to addressing inequity in the creative industries. Since then, it has become a strong, trusted voice, with impact widely felt across the sector. The organisation is now firmly established as a go-to resource for both creative employers and individuals from marginalised communities.

Under Josie’s leadership, Creative Access has helped change the landscape of the UK’s creative industries, opening doors through internships, mentoring, and career support, while building meaningful partnerships across the wider creative ecosystem.

As the organisation enters its next chapter, its mission remains clear: to champion equity, support talent from all backgrounds, and continue building a more inclusive and representative creative sector.
