Celebrating Creativity: UK Artist Touring Fund 

This week we're spotlighting the UK Artist Touring Fund, with £125,000 available to support UK artists taking their music on the road. Designed to help alleviate the rising overheads associated with touring, the fund offers grants of up to £7,000, or 40% of total tour expenditure. 

The initiative has been developed by the Featured Artist Coalition (FAC), in partnership with the Music Managers Forum (MMF) and the Musicians’ Union (MU). It is backed by the LIVE Trust, which redistributes £1 from tickets sold at arena and stadium shows into grassroots music initiatives.

By redistributing funds from large-scale live events, the programme directly supports artists working across smaller venues, helping to plug gaps in touring budgets and enable more live performances across the UK. Phase One focuses on domestic headline tours, with further rounds expected as the programme develops and expands.

The fund is open to artists across all genres, career stages, and regions of the UK, reflecting a wider commitment to supporting diversity and ensuring that live music continues to thrive nationwide.

As the live sector continues to evolve, initiatives like UKAT play an important role in supporting artists not just to tour, but to grow sustainable, long-term careers.
