Handle Recruitment are looking for an Events Operations Manager to join our clients global events portfolio.London | Hybrid - 3 days in office Up to £40,000 + 10% Bonus Lots of international travel opportunities!!The Opportunity: Our client is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join their conference and exhibition team. The role focuses on delivering and managing high-quality international events across Europe, the Middle East, America, and Africa. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in event operations, the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and meticulous attention to detail. This is a hybrid role (three days in the office) with onsite responsibilities during events, requiring international travel and occasional weekend or evening work. Key Responsibilities:Manage the operational delivery of multiple events worldwide from conception to completion.Oversee event operations budgets, planning, and forecasting to ensure financial targets are met.Collaborate with senior leadership on operational strategy for each event.Develop and manage event timelines, delegating tasks to team members as required.Source suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with venues and key contractors.Ensure all production, marketing, sales, and finance elements of events are coordinated effectively.Produce detailed technical information for exhibitors, including manuals and zone plans.Deliver sponsorship and exhibitor packages, including stands, branding, and features.Design and manage floor plans, event signage, and show guides.Oversee health and safety compliance, including risk assessments and Construction Phase Plans.Conduct post-event evaluations and identify opportunities for improvement.Participate in cross-team initiatives and working groups.Travel internationally as required and work flexible hours leading up to events.Knowledge, Skills, Attitude and Behaviour:Proven experience in international conferences and exhibitions.Experience designing and coordinating feature builds for exhibitions.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong experience creating and managing event operations budgets, planning, and forecasting.Familiarity with event software platforms and onsite Health & Safety management. IOSH Managing Safely qualification desirable.Innovative thinker with the ability to produce standout events.Analytical mindset with a focus on continual process improvement.Quick to learn and embrace new technology and IT systems.Self-motivated, proactive, and accountable.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform under pressure.Excellent social and communication skills; comfortable working with all levels of an organisation.Customer-focused mindset with attention to detail.Strong negotiation skills and effective time management. Location: London - Hybrid (2-3 days a week in office, based on event schedule) Pay: Up to £200 a day Temporary role - 5 Month ContractObjective The Women's T20 World Cup 2026 - Partner Rights Delivery Manager is the primary commercial liaison between the client's commercial team and Host/Host Venues across sponsorship and licensing. This role is responsible for the operational delivery of all partner rights and benefits, acting as the key link between event partners and the Host organisation to ensure contractual compliance and seamless on-ground execution.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the day-to-day lead for assigned sponsors, owning delivery of contractual rights and benefits.Develop and manage the operational plan for the sponsorship and licensing programme, including timelines and implementation manuals.Lead planning and delivery of partner activations, VIK, accreditation, invoicing and guidelines alongside Partnerships & Licensing account managers.Serve as the primary operational contact with the Host organisation, ensuring venue compliance and approved partner activity.Track and monitor Host Agreement deliverables to ensure timely execution.Oversee artwork approvals, signage plans and match management documentation.Coordinate with ticketing and hospitality teams on allocations, portals, reporting and invoicing.Plan event-time resourcing and manage on-site logistics for the sponsorship and licensing team.Attend venue inspections, manage readiness checks and produce post-inspection reports.Deliver partner workshops and provide operational guidance to the sales team.Provide regular operational updates to stakeholders.Manage post-event commercial wrap-up and produce a delivery report with recommendations. Match Responsibilities Pre-MatchConduct venue readiness checks against sponsorship and licensing standards.Ensure suppliers, sponsors and licensees deliver in line with agreements.Coordinate remedial actions and support final match preparations.Submit readiness reports to senior stakeholders.Match DayConfirm venue readiness prior to gates opening.Act as the on-site escalation point for sponsorship and licensing matters.Oversee activations, hospitality and award presentations.Monitor ambush marketing risks.Complete and circulate post-match reports. Experience & SkillsMinimum three years' experience in events, within commercial rights or sports event management.Strong understanding of cricket and major sporting events.Excellent organisation, time management and attention to detail.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Confident using MS Office.Proactive, adaptable and comfortable working in a small, fast-paced team.Passion for sport and brands, with flexibility to work extended hours during events.
