This role is paying up to £120,000 dependent on experience.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Researcher to join the EMEA Consumer Insights team on a 12-month contract, leading research initiatives focused on the UK market. Based in London, this role operates in a hybrid working model with three days per week in the office.
In this role, you will partner closely with regional Content, Marketing and Product teams to deliver high-quality insights that inform strategy, storytelling and campaign development. You will be responsible for identifying key research needs, designing and executing studies, and translating findings into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
This is a senior individual contributor position with significant scope to influence strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic research projects across the UK and wider EMEA region, from high-level market strategy to title-specific insights.
- Design and deliver end-to-end quantitative and qualitative research, ensuring rigorous methodology and meaningful outputs.
- Explore audience motivations, behaviours and emotional drivers behind engagement with TV and film.
- Translate complex insights into clear strategic recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Present and communicate findings across multiple teams and organisational levels.
- Build strong partnerships with cross-functional teams including Content, Marketing, Product, Data Science and Strategy.
- Identify priority research opportunities and develop a roadmap that maximises business impact.
- Represent the voice and perspective of the UK consumer within regional and global initiatives.
About You
- Mixed-methods researcher with hands-on experience leading both qualitative and quantitative studies end-to-end.
- Previous experience in Film or TV content research is essential!
- Passionate about television, film and the evolving media landscape.
- Skilled at translating insights into strategic and creative recommendations.
- Confident communicator who can present complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Collaborative and comfortable working with diverse teams across regions and time zones.
- Strong understanding of the UK market and audience landscape.
This role involves working across international teams, you will be required at times to work flexible working hours and will occasionally be required to travel internationally.
