We're looking for an experienced and approachable Copy Editor to support a suite of internal, employee-facing websites and tools used by a world-leading entertainment company. This role sits within a Technology Services team focused on making everyday work easier through clear, consistent and well-structured content.
The role
You'll be the first point of contact for a diverse group of internal authors, editing HR, operations and end-user content and helping teams publish confidently. You'll manage content within a CMS, support localisation workflows, and guide new authors on best practice. You'll also play a hands-on role in improving processes and maintaining high editorial standards across the platform.
Working closely with a Content Strategy Manager, you'll support ongoing knowledge-base projects such as content audits, migrations and localisation initiatives.
What you'll do
- Edit and proofread employee-facing content to ensure clarity, accuracy and consistency
- Support publication and localisation workflows in the CMS
- Educate authors on content standards, voice and style guidelines
- Improve content based on audits, system updates and user feedback
- Edit documentation for internally built tools
- Help ensure content is easy to find, understand and use
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners during content migrations
What we're looking for
Essential:
- Native or bilingual English proficiency
- Several years' experience copy-editing or proofreading within a large organisation or publishing environment!
- Strong experience editing support, educational or operational content for non-technical audiences
- Confidence working with technical material and translating it into clear, accessible language
- Excellent knowledge of a recognised style guide (e.g. AP or equivalent)
- Experience working in a CMS (Contentful preferred)
- Strong organisational skills and comfort managing multiple deadlines
- A collaborative approach and openness to feedback
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards
- Familiarity with data or reporting tools such as Tableau
- Professional fluency in Spanish, French or Italian (helpful but not essential)
