FINANCE ASSISTANT - LONDON
Fantastic opportunity with well-known global brand, seeking a Finance Assistant. This is a brilliant and exciting opportunity with a fast paced growing company with huge potential for progression. We're ideally looking for an enthusiastic well organised individual with a passion and flare for numbers. A friendly team player with the ability to use your own initiative when planning day to day, along with fantastic communication skills is a must.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Month end bank and daily bank reconciliations
- Regular communication with customers, Managing and documenting payments
- Ensuring accounting records of customer payments are constantly accurate
- Reporting and analysing on payment performance
- Reviewing credit applications and making credit judgements
- Managing internal and external relationships between both customers, and sales and finance teams
THE CANDIDATE

- Solution based problem solvers
- Extremely computer literate (excel is a must)
- Fantastic accuracy and attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication
- Strong academic background
- Enthusiasm for a career in finance
KEY SKILLS
- University educated (preferably finance and accounting but not essential)
- Experience of 6 - 12 months working in a related role
- Experience of SAP Business One preferred
ADVANCED SKILLS
- SEPA direct debit transactions
- Customer ledger control
- Treasury management
- Financial reporting
- Management of payment allocation systems
- Working with automated dunning systems
